We appreciate as much notice as possible. But depending on which service you need assistance with, the timeline can vary. A great first step is to reach out to us with your ideas using our online inquiry form.

Ideally, 18 months. However, we will try to accommodate a shorter timeline, such as 9 to 12 months, for smaller conferences or events that need a quick turnaround.

Yes. We have a host of resources available, like checklists, to help you make selections and prepare for your event.

Yes. We can help with any part of your online or in-person registration. We have three different levels of registration packages available based upon your event needs.

Yes. We give you access to view real-time data so you can check on your number of registrants and who has registered at any given time.

We can assist with all types of events, big and small. It really depends on the needs and complexity of your conference.

We have poster boards available for rent. Each poster board is four feet wide by three feet high (landscape), with a double-sided display area. We’re happy to speak with you about the rental process, pricing and more.

Yes. Off campus M|Catering orders require a $1,000 food and beverage minimum and include a delivery charge.

For delivery orders you are free to do what you wish with your leftovers. If we service the event, you are more than welcome to share leftovers with students. Additionally, M|Catering sends leftover food to Maize and Blue Pantry, the campus food pantry. And remember, food safety always depends on timing, so leftovers can only be shared if we’re within the government regulated two-hour window for perishable goods.

No. M|Catering partners with units like the Office of Campus Sustainability to offer zero-waste events at no additional charge. Speak with your event manager to learn about any exceptions, like off-campus caterer fees for zero waste accommodations.

We will provide you with a compost bin, compostable cutlery, plates and other products, and/or china when you hold your event at the Michigan Union, Michigan League or Pierpont Commons. Additionally, we can provide signs to let your guests know they are participating in a zero waste event. And when you partner with us, we can also share resources and best practices from U-M’s Zero Waste Program. Find more information on the Planet Blue website.
